EyeSight® Driver Assist1
Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist1 technology is not just amazing stuff, it represents world-class and category-leading safety. With dual colour forward facing stereo cameras intelligently and discreetly placed on your windscreen, EyeSight® Driver Assist, scans the road ahead looking for danger. It’s like having a second pair of eyes. This advanced system provides extra awareness, safety, and added peace of mind every time you drive.
EyeSight® Driver Assist is designed to actively help drivers avoid frontal collisions, lane drifting and low speed impacts. It can ‘lock on’ to vehicles directly in front and direct the adaptive cruise control to slow down, stop or accelerate to maintain a safe driving distance.
EyeSight® can also look out for pedestrians, motorcycles and cyclists within its vision and depending on conditions, use pre-crash braking to help minimise any impact and damage. If the speed is less than 30 km/h, the car may be brought to a complete stop prior to impact.

Satellite navigation
Forget about arguments over directions. With easy to follow on-screen graphics and clearly voiced instructions including live traffic updates, sit back and let the satellite navigation1 system guide you to where you want to be. Or if you prefer you can bounce your smartphone’s mapping system to the Impreza’s touchscreen. The choice is yours.

Vision Assist
Subaru’s Vision Assist1 is brilliant technology that gives you greater awareness of the world around you – and your Impreza.
Take Blind Spot Monitor, a feature that recognises things can change at any moment. So if a vehicle is quickly approaching or is hidden in a blind spot, rear and side sensors will let you know. Rear Cross Traffic Alert warns you if another car is approaching when you’re reversing and Reverse Automatic Braking will apply the brakes if an obstacle is detected behind you and you do not apply the brakes.
